Logline: Two attorneys, one Black man and one white man, look back over their lives and navigate racial tension and stereotypes as they compete for the same partnership position at their prestigious law firm, which has just nabbed the two biggest cases in the firm’s history.

Bio: Ben Burgess, Jr. is the author of the award-winning novels "Monster," "Wounded," "Love and Happiness," "A Father's Sacrifice: Daddy's Girl," and the new novel "Defining Moments: Black and White." He is an active performer of spoken word poetry. Ben uses his love of writing to inspire and influence youths to strive for what they believe in and to never give up on their dreams. His dream is to have his novels adapted into major motion pictures.

Logline: The son of a career criminal becomes a legendary NYPD Bomb Squad Detective, escaping death numerous times and solving the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. 

Bio: Jeff Ingber is the author of books, short stories, and screenplays, for which he has won numerous awards. His first screenplay was the basis for a film, entitled “Crypto,” starring Kurt Russell and Alexis Bledel, that was released by Lionsgate in April 2019. One of his novels, entitled “Shattered Lives,” currently is being made into a documentary film by MacTavish Productions.
