The First 10 Pages Showcase recognizes scripts, books, short stories & stage plays in any genre that set up an exciting and compelling story capable of "hooking" a reader within the first 10 pages.

LIMBO

Logline: This half-hour comedy is set in Limbo, a temporary stopover for some of the recently-deceased who have unfinished business to resolve before moving on to their final reward. 

Bio: Jan Maxwell’s writing background includes previous Los Angeles representation for a romantic comedy and a successful career writing for magazines, news services, and the internet. She currently has a romantic comedy being read by several production companies and a sci-fi radio drama under consideration. Her latest feature, a buddy comedy, was recently named a quarter-finalist in the Screencraft Family Friendly Contest.
