PROSPECT TO RUIN

Logline: When an undercover detective suffers a personal tragedy, he must choose between facing the pain of his past or falling deeper into the outlaw motorcycle gang he’s infiltrated.

Bio: Scott Pittock is a screenwriter who has a desire to bring a fresh voice to the screen. Early in his career, he wrote and directed two shorts which have appeared in over a dozen film festivals, most notably Pop Gun, which appeared in the prestigious Slamdance Film Festival. Over the years, Scott has developed screenplays and treatments for the LA-based company Cinema Revival, Inc. He has also provided script coverage for the London-based YouGoFar Productions. Most recently, Scott was hired to write Prospect to Ruin, the true story of a conflicted detective going undercover in the world of an outlaw motorcycle gang.

Scott has written features and shorts which have placed in various competitions over the years. Most notably Sanctuary, which has won or placed in almost thirty competitions. Scott also had the great honor of writing the drama Martyr under the mentorship of Lew Hunter, Chairman Emeritus of the UCLA Screenwriting Program. Martyr has found success in various competitions. On the strength of Martyr, Scott was selected to participate in the highly respected CineStory Feature Retreat where he gained valuable experience and relationships. Currently, Scott is developing many feature projects, which include the TV drama, Broken to Heal, a quarter-finalist in ScreenCraft’s Pilot Launch Contest and an Official Selection in the Action On Film Festival.
